Born to Compete

2006

The team's story begins in 2006, when, observing a worldwide trend of companies to notice a great deficiency in the professionals who appeared in universities due to the lack of practical knowledge of the labor market, a group of students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, together with an extremely professor engaged, Kamal, decided to join the international movement and start, still in the first steps, the movement of the SAE formula in Brazil. In this context, FSAE Unicamp, a combustion team from the State University of Campinas, emerged. In the first competition, the team won the award for best rookie team, showing the potential that we could obtain.

2021

15 years later, with 4 participations in world championships, the team has a trajectory of excellence with innovation and resilience that continues to adapt and evolve with the appreciation of setting ambitious goals. It currently ranks 20th among the world teams in the 2021 Formula SAE Knowledge Event.
